Situation
Sanford wanted to modernize his original HTML website, built in 2000, into a contemporary platform that would be easy for him to manage and update independently.
Our Approach
Because Sanford required an article-focused website with minimal functionality, we selected WordPress as the CMS for its reliability and content management strengths.
Since Sanford wanted to preserve the distinctive early-2000s aesthetic of the original site, rather than adopting a modern minimalist design, we intentionally incorporated a richly textured background with a light purple palette as a tribute to the original design.
